Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese... Rivals in Renaissance Venice

In Venice from 1540 to 1590, Titian, Tintoretto, and Veronese—to mention only the most famous—vied with each other in pictorial prowess. This artistic rivalry fostered a profusion of ideas and innovation that would make Venice a major hub of artistic creation.

This exhibition was organized by the Musée du Louvre, in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts of Boston.

This exhibition has been made possible thanks to the support of Eni as “mécène principal”. Additional support and technological cooperation has been provided by Dai Nippon Printing.
Media partners: France 2, France Inter, Le Parisien, Paris Match.
Partners: Thalys, ENIT-Italian Government Tourist Board, Alitalia, and Air France.
